O Governo do Estado de São Paulo voltou a estipular uma data para a operação da Linha 6-Laranja. Nas palavras do secretário de transpores Metropolitanos, Jurandir Fernandes, o ramal que em sua primeira fase vai ligar o bairro da Brasilândia até a estação São Joaquim deve ficar pronto em 2020. Mas existe a possibilidade de um trecho iniciar a operação já em 2018, que vai da zona norte até a Água Branca, onde o ramal vai cruzar com as Linhas 7-Rubi e 8-Diamante da CPTM, e futuramente com o trem regional.

Mas para que esse prazo se cumpra é preciso as tão esperadas obras. O Governo do estado divulgou que a construção deve iniciar no segundo semestre de 2014. Sob responsabilidade do Consórcio Move São Paulo, a construção da nova linha de Metrô será realizada por meio da primeira PPP integral na área de transportes.

Toda operação ficará por conta do consórcio, que deve comprar 23 trens para atender a demanda estimada de 633,6 mil passageiros/dia.

Tudo isso foi divulgado em um evento na prefeitura de São Paulo, onde o governador Geraldo Alckmin e o presidente do BNDES, Luciano Coutinho, assinaram contrato de financiamento de R$ 1,7 bilhão que irá compor os 50% do aporte financeiro do Estado de São Paulo. O valor total é de R$ 9,6 bilhões, sendo que R$ 8,9 bilhões são divididos entre o Governo do Estado (50%) e o consórcio (50%). Os outros R$ 673 milhões são referentes às desapropriações que serão executadas pelo Estado. Estavam presentes também a presidente Dilma Roussef e o prefeito da capital, Fernando Haddad. A prefeitura cedeu um terreno na zona norte para que os tatuzões sejam montados para iniciar os trabalhos.

Atrasos

A linha foi prometida inicialmente para ter obras já em 2010 ainda na gestão do ex-governador José Serra, com previsão de conclusão para 2014. Depois os prazos foram postergados para 2017, e agora fala-se em 2020. Existem planos de estender o ramal nas duas pontas, a oeste até a rodovia dos Bandeirantes e a Leste até a Futura Estação Iguatemi da Linha 15-Prata. Prazos? Segundo projeções do Metrô no horizonte de 2030.
