O BNDES
autorizou convênio no valor total de R$ 4,7 Bilhões para financiar o
início das obras da Linha 6-Laranja do Metrô de São Paulo.
O
contrato foi assinado dia 26.06.2014 com a presença da
Presidente da República, Dilma Rousseff, o presidente do BNDES, Luciano
Coutinho, o Governador do Estado de São Paulo, Geraldo Alckmin, e o
prefeito da capital, Fernando Haddad. A primeira parte do financiamento
será de R$ 1,7 Bilhão.
Os
recursos contratados fazem parte de operação aprovada pelo BNDES em
abril deste ano. O valor será destinado à implantação da Linha 6-Laranja
do Metrô, no trecho entre as estações Brasilândia e São
Joaquim. A estimativa é que a nova linha atenda 633,3 mil passageiros
por dia útil, tendo prazo de seis anos para ficar pronta.
A nova linha terá extensão operacional de 13,3 km, 15 estações, um pátio de manutenção e estacionamento para 20 trens.
De
acordo com o governo de São Paulo, responsável pelos metrôs e trens, a
Linha 6 deve beneficiar, no geral, 605,4 mil habitantes e 616,4 mil
trabalhadores que atuam na região Central e nas zonas Oeste e Noroeste
da capital, onde se destacam os distritos de Brasilândia, Freguesia do
Ó, Lapa, Barra Funda, Perdizes, Consolação, Bela Vista e Liberdade.
“De
2003 até hoje, o Banco já contratou com o Estado de São Paulo cerca de
R$ 10 bilhões em projetos de mobilidade urbana para a região
metropolitana”, destacou o presidente Luciano Coutinho durante a
cerimônia, que aconteceu na sede da prefeitura de São Paulo.
Ele
informou ainda que o Banco tem em carteira outros projetos de
mobilidade urbana para a região no valor aproximado de R$ 13 bilhões.

The new line will be operational length of 13.3 km, 15 stations, one maintenance yard and parking for 20 trains.
According to the government of São Paulo, responsible for subways and trains, Line 6 should benefit overall, 605,400 residents and 616,400 workers who work in the Central region and in areas west and northwest of the capital, where the districts stand Brasilândia Townshend, Lapa, Barra Funda, Partridges, Consolation, Bela Vista and Freedom.
"From 2003 until today, the Bank has contracted with the State of São Paulo around R $ 10 billion in projects for urban mobility in the metropolitan region," said the president Luciano Coutinho during the ceremony, which took place at the City of St. Paul.
He also informed that the Bank has a portfolio of other projects for urban mobility for the region amounting to approximately U.S. $ 13 billion.
