volta das 10h15, as Estações Belém e Tatuapé da Linha 3-Vermelha foram
abertas. No mesmo horário, diversos grupos de manifestantes liderados
pelo Sindicato dos Metroviários, que estavam na Praça da Sé, inciaram um
protesto caminhado pela rua João Mendes. A manifestação bloqueou todas
as faixas da rua e seguiu em direção à Secretaria Estadual de
Transporte. Os manifestantes cantavam "Ô, São Paulo parou" e
"Metroviário é meu amigo, mexeu com ele mexeu comigo."
"Se continuarem as demissões, a greve continua"
O
presidente do sindicato dos Metroviários de São Paulo, Altino Melo dos
Prazeres, classificou como inadmissível a demissão por justa causa de 60
grevistas, decisão anunciada logo no início da manhã desta
segunda-feira pelo secretário Jurandir Fernandes.
— Em vez de diminuir o problema, ele está inflamando a categoria. Se continuarem as demissões, a greve continua.

Prazeres afirmou ainda que as demissões foram "uma fonte de intimidação
do Estado para mostrar que vai prender" e que "o governo precisa dar
algum sinal de que quer negociar".
— Até agora, o único sinal que eu vi foi bomba.
Por
volta das 9h, manifestantes do MTST, do MPL, da Luta de Transporte
Extremo Sul e de outros movimentos sociais se concentraram na Praça da
Sé, no centro de São Paulo. Eles caminharam até a Secretaria de
Transportes para tentar conversar com o secretário estadual de
Transportes.
